CLYPSO Signs to etcetc Music + Announces Debut EP

Having exploded onto the scene last year with her breakthrough single ‘YOLO’, Sydney’s CLYPSO has had a huge 2018 delivering stand out tracks like ‘Pop Roll Flow’ and ‘Middle Ground’ featuring Kwame, as well as being hand-picked to tour with the likes of PNAU and What So Not. Today etcetc Music is thrilled to announced CLYPSO has signed to the label, joining artists like PNAU, Kilter and Luboku on its roster.

On the signing, Aden Mullens, General Manager of etcetc Music said, “It’s no secret there’s some real excitement around CLYPSO right now. Claudine is a true creative with a contagious energy and we’re so proud to welcome CLYPSO and her amazing manager Shelley Liu to the etcetc family.”

CLYPSO adds, “Aden came to one of my very first gigs. The sound was bad and my tracks were at their very early stages of production. But I think that’s exactly it; team etcetc could see the vision and its potential. Their belief in me as an artist and producer has given me the extra energy to push the limits of each new song and project I embark on. All about the day ones.”

Today CLYPSO also delivers her latest single ‘Strange Behaviour’ featuring Melbourne rapper Sophiegrophy. ‘Strange Behaviour’ is the next taste of CLYPSO’s upcoming EP Cameo to be released by etcetc in January.

Delivering a sound that’s a collage of hyperactive beats, grimey basslines and global tropical music culture inspired electronica or as she describes it, “troppo chilli flakes”, CLYPSO is turning heads in the Australian music scene with her unique sound. A songwriter and vocalist who produces all her own tracks, CLYPSO now joins artists like PNAU, Kilter and Luboku on the etcetc roster, with her 6-track debut EP set to drop on January 11^th.
