One of the hottest duos in house music, New York’s Walker & Royce, will be making their return to Australia and New Zealand in January 2018. Having just dropped their Self Help album via Dirtybird/etcetc, Walker & Royce have become the talk of the town, dropping constant heaters and tearing up parties all around the world.

After a swift rise in recent years – during which time they pioneered a sound that is often imitated but never replicated – Sam Walker and Gavin Royce set out on a trail of self-discovery and advancement. Their journey has resulted in a diverse album that evokes a range of emotion and fervour, one that can be appreciated both on the way to a club as well as feverishly dancing to it in one.

Walker & Royce have also continued to push the boundaries of their minted formula for a bigger purpose, enlisting several distinct vocalists and collaborators to captivating effect on Self Help. The legendary Green Velvet lends his vocal talent to “Rub Anotha Dub”, and longtime friend Dances With White Girls appear on two memorable tracks, including the hit single “Take Me To Your Leader”. “My Own Thang” sees Melbourne MC Sophiegrophy on vocal duties. Born in Nigeria and raised in New Zealand, Sophie Olowookere, better known as Sophiegrophy is one of the many highlights on Self Help.
