“Life can be a crazy thing sometimes. I’ve been working with Guy on some tracks for his album. He’s an actual musical genius, he definitely doesn’t need my help, he could do everything himself but I think he just doesn’t have the time. I learnt so much while working in his studio. Anyways, I had this beautiful topline from Alexander Burnett and I’d written the instrumental for it, I just needed to find the right singer. I never in a million years thought I’d get Guy Sebastian on there but like I said, life can be crazy sometimes! And he absolutely crushed it!” – Paces

Gold Coast producer Paces is on an undeniable upward swing. After selling out his series of Ship to Shore album launch parties around the country, his debut LP ‘Vacation’ entered the iTunes Top 20 album chart and claimed the #2 spot on the Electronic chart. Paces’ single with Jess Kent ‘1993 (No Chill)’ also received national radio support and has racked up 700,000 plays on Spotify alone!

‘Desert’ is lifted from Paces’ 13-track debut album ‘Vacation’, which features a range of international and Australian talent. From Baltimore to Brazil to a little closer to home, Paces has enlisted artists like Bonde do Rolê, Kučka, Oliver Tank and Guy Sebastian.
