It’s What You Know…
January 27, 2011 Posted by admin at 10:04 am

Everybody loves a bit of Two Door Cinema Club news don’t they…
The video for Two Door Cinema Club’s next single ‘What You Know‘ hit the interwebs late last week, and has been burning up bandwidth ever since – evening taking out the Channel [ V ] ripe clip of the week! The video is one of our favourite from the band, and features everything you could possibly need to love this song even more!
In other TDCC news, the boys managed to have 2 of their singles fly into the Triple J Hottest 100 of 2010, with ‘Undercover Martyn‘ taking out No. 21, and ‘I Can Talk‘ at No. 72! With the boys due to arrive in Australia any day now, we can’t wait to hear ‘What You Know’ live!
TDCC Fans can Talk
January 13, 2011 Posted by admin at 10:17 am
We, like many fans out there, have a tendancy to film most of the gigs we attend. Although most of us hold onto this footage to love and cherish forever, or gloat to our friends about how close to centre stage we were, a majority of the time this footage ends up on Youtube. Two Door Cinema Club played their biggest Paris show ever back in November 2010 and wanted a timeless video to remember the occasion.
“We’ve always wondered what our gigs looked like from your eyes! The show was so incredible that we asked our fans on facebook to upload any videos they’d taken on their mobile phones. The response was incredible.”
These videos were compiled together to make a super unique live video for ‘I Can Talk‘. Edited by Rod from le-hiboo.com, this video is absolutely amazing.
Enjoy.

Two Door Cinema Club live from Splendour in the Grass
September 14, 2010 Posted by admin at 3:16 pm

For those unlucky enough to not have made the trip out to Woodford earlier this year and witnessed the spectacular which was Two Door Cinema Club at Splendour in the Grass, we have some good news. Triple J were there, seemingly armed with some microphones and a cassette recorder, and are bringing you Two Door Cinema Club Live at the Wireless.
The boys set from Splendour was broadcast last night at 8pm, and sounded just as (if not more) amazing than being there. For those who missed it, there is a third and final chance to catch the boys set this Sunday, 19th September at 5PM (EST).
Continuing down the TDCC front. In a stroke of digital genius, it seems Triple J were not the only media merchants armed with a recording kit. It seems amongst other things, the lads managed to keep a Handy-cam handy while they’re were out here, capturing an expressive self-shot tour video.
With footage from all around Australia, it’s definitely worth it’s share of bandwidth. Enjoy
KITSUNÉ-PONYSTEP

KITSUNÉ-PONYSTEP mixed by Jerry Bouthier
Rays of sunshine finally kick in as the always ebullient Kitsuné teams up with London’s Ponystep for a summer mix cd ‘très mode’.
Fusing pop, electro, indie, disco and more, Kitsuné-Ponystep mixes tracks and remixes from some of the hottest names around (Roisin Murphy, French Horn Rebellion, Booka Shade, Aeroplane, Lindstrom, Munk…); a truly international cast that goes as far as Sydney, Perth, NYC, Oslo, Berlin, Munich, Manchester and inevitably Paris and London. Seventy minutes designed to make you dance… and also, at times, move you. In today’s troubled times, emotion has become fashion’s latest by-word and is certainly an essential ingredient here: plenty of songs, with vocals and people playing instruments such as new Xenomania artist Florrie, Northern Ireland’s finest Two Door Cinema Club, Belgium’s Das Pop, Vienna’s Bunny Lake, Sweden’s Lo-Fi Fnk, David E Sugar… a far cry from the dull thump you often find associated with fashion soundtracks. As such Kitsuné-Ponystep is not just a dj mix, Andrea Gorgerino, Bouthier’s studio side-kick and half of their recording project JBAG (also a versatile dj unit that has remixed Ladyhawke, Kylie, Sparks and S-Express), knows like no other how to apply magic, and a bit of drama, as he does on the shows to enhance the aural experience.
So if you are a curious, be looking forward to the aficionados of uplift of dance beat held be the first Kitsuné-Ponystep collection. Before you know it, a new season will be upon you!
