After a string of acclaimed live shows around Europe, Fever Ray is heading over to the US and Canada in September/October. Venues will include NYC’s iconic Webster Hall, where Andersson’s other project, The Knife, played two sold out dates for their US debut.

Karin will be supported by a 4 piece band, with visuals masterminded by Swedish multimedia artist Andreas Nilsson who designed The Knife’s live show and directed the creepy video for If I Had a Heart.

They mercilessly conquered Australian audiences at their recent Sydney and Melbourne Serio Single Launches. Now, with their sights set firmly on Europe, these Valentinos are anything but ‘lost’.

Over the coming months they’ll be playing some of the sizzling-est dates imaginable across the UK, Spain and Belgium. And July brings a spot on the hottest-of-hot Splendour in the Grass lineup.

With this many dates you’ll have no excuse for not seeing them in the flesh. Make sure you wear something nice.

Putting months of speculation to rest, this year’s Splendour in the Grass lineup has just been announced. And it includes our very own Lost Valentinos, alongside MGMT, The Flaming Lips, Friendly Fires, plus tonnes more.

If you can’t wait until July for a live fix, they’re also performing some dates over the coming weeks:

Fever Ray’s Karin Dreijer Andersson has added yet another string to her already impressive bow.

Along with Danish performance collective, Hotel Pro Forma, Karin’s band The Knife have helped to create Tomorrow, in a Year – A Darwin Opera. No, it’s not a tribute to Australia’s youngest city. It’s an experimental performance piece featuring elements of electronica pop, classical opera and performance, commemorating the 150 year anniversary of Charles Darwin’s influential The Origin of Species. Premiering in Copenhagen in September, the production has no dates scheduled outside of Denmark as yet.

Before Ladyhawke, before Lady Sovereign, and long before Lady Gaga, Ladytron were original catalysts in the rebirth of electro pop. Mission Control, meanwhile, have been busy recording their debut album, a follow up to their Innerspace EP which received plenty of love from Triple J, and their new single Silhouette can be heard there too if you ask nicely.

Being supported by Mission Control puts Ladytron in good company, with the boys having recently supported Bloc Party and The Mystery Jets, as well as opening the Sydney Festival.

Make sure you get tickets early – it won’t be the first time Ladytron have sold out in Australia!
