Datarock

Datarock are nearly upon our shores where the’ll be headlining the Come Together Festival in Sydney, plus dates in Brisbane and Melbourne. The Norwegians were last here in 2007 to support their punk-funk-geek-chic debut Datarock Datarock, which spawned the hits Computer Camp Love, Fa Fa Fa, and I Used to Dance with My Daddy.

Expect to hear plenty of tracks from their upcoming sophomore album Red including Give it Up plus new single The Pretender.

Red is out June 12.

Live Dates:
4 June – The Hifi, Melbourne
5 June – The Zoo, Brisbane
6 June – Come Together Festival, Sydney

Mission Control Supporting Ladytron this June

April 16, 2009 Posted by Eva at 11:47 am

LadytronV1.indd
etcetc’s very own Mission Control will be supporting Ladytron’s Brisbane and Melbourne shows in June.

Before Ladyhawke, before Lady Sovereign, and long before Lady Gaga, Ladytron were original catalysts in the rebirth of electro pop. Mission Control, meanwhile, have been busy recording their debut album, a follow up to their Innerspace EP which received plenty of love from Triple J, and their new single Silhouette can be heard there too if you ask nicely.

Being supported by Mission Control puts Ladytron in good company, with the boys having recently supported Bloc Party and The Mystery Jets, as well as opening the Sydney Festival.

Make sure you get tickets early – it won’t be the first time Ladytron have sold out in Australia!

Ladytron and Mission Control Dates:
5th June – Hifi, Melbourne – More Info
7th June – Hifi, Brisbane – More Info

…and if you want to see Mission Control sooner:
17th April -  Spectrum, Sydney
18th April -  Revolver, Melbourne
1st May -  FANS club, Brisbane
