Today Melbourne-based producer/songwriter Luboku (Luis Kennett) shares his new single '50 Days', once again showing his versatility as a dynamic, electronic artist. Already receiving the tick of approval from EDM.com and KCRW's Travis Holcombe, its skittering, upbeat production and heartwarming vocals mark Luboku as a rising new talent on the local scene.

Of the track, Luboku states; 'The initial demo of 50 Days came out fast and fully formed, but a few weeks later when I revisited the track I wanted to change it. I went through about 4 completely different versions but in the end it was that first draft that I decided to go with, because it felt the most honest. It’s funny how the process of writing the song mirrors the meaning behind it - 50 Days is about trying to work through a feeling you’ve been sitting with, and I think constantly changing the song was my way of processing that feeling.'

The new single comes alongside news of his signing to one of Australia's most reputable labels, etcetc - the home to artists like PNAU, Fever Ray and Digitalism. The label will be releasing his debut EP The Surface this November 23, shortly after his appearance at this year's Electronic Music Conference in Sydney. Having supported the likes Wilaris. K, What So Not and Petit Biscuit, the conference will be another great opportunity for the artist to showcase his electric live show.
