‘Lifted’ was written in Europe last year when Klue, aka Gabriel Clouston, was on tour with his band True Vibenation, including playing the famed Glastonbury Festival.  Klue explains how the track came together across different cities and the unexpected “instrument” that makes an appearance:

“This track started in a café in Berlin while touring with True Vibenation.  I had some time to kill and I started on a beat.  A few weeks later we were hanging out on the coast in Portugal and we had this epic day paddle boarding around the sea caves and when we came out into the sunset I got hit by this overwhelming natural high and that’s what ‘Lifted’ is describing. As always there’s a bunch of weird percussion going on.  One of the main percussive elements in this track is me playing a Pringles tin with drum sticks.  Studio snack choice played a big part in this one.”

Having been tipped as a One To Watch by tastemakers including Hermitudeinthemix and Purple Sneakers, Klue’s single ‘Hiding’, from his debut EP ‘Daybreak’, surpassed half a million streams online, reached #3 on the Triple J Unearthed charts and was added to Double J. Klue has also been busy remixing artist such as Paces, PNAU and Polygraphia. Klue’s remixes of PNAU’s ubiquitous track ‘Chameleon’ will be released worldwide on 26th May 2017.

‘Lifted’ has also been picked up by Marie Claire magazine in the US, promoting their new issue with cover girl and new Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot. The video was posted to Marie Claire’s 1 million Instagram followers and 3.4 million Facebook followers
