// MUSIC

Discovering his passion for music during his teenage years, Flash 89 became infatuated with the energetic sounds of Fake Blood, Switch and Plump DJs; watching these artists perform at the renowned Parklife Festival. This introduction to the electronic realm set the tone for his own exploration into production, and the sonic narrative of Flash 89 was born - a fastidious combination of forward-thinking electronic tones and expressions purpose built for discerning dance floors of all shapes and sizes, with an underlying theme of body movement.

Today, Flash 89 is back with a brand new single titled “Elixir” off his forthcoming EP to be released in May.  Flash states: "This song is personal for me. It's about that point in time where your daily thoughts about that someone finally stop. No bitterness, no ill will, just that moment where I don't think about you anymore”.  Sonically it's a piano laden driving house groover built for the dance floor, paired lyrically with the sentiment of moving on from a past relationship.

“It’s my first time collaborating in depth with a vocalist, and I’m really proud of the end result."

 The Australian native has cemented himself as one of house music’s emerging new breed, showcasing a swag of dancefloor energy across imprints like Solotoko, Lapsus, Non Stop, Safe, Abode, etcetc, and Sweat It Out. These audio excursions giving him the nod of approval from the likes of Jamie Jones, Solardo, Gorgon City, Danny Howard, Detlef, De La Swing, Dennis Ferrer, Eli Brown, Huxley, Mark Knight, Matt.Joe, Raffa FL, Richy Ahmed and Sonny Fodera.
