London based producer & vocalist Bearcubs has today shared ‘Haunts’, the first cut since the release of his debut LP 'Ultraviolet'.
The moody and mysterious cut is more club-focused than previous singles, and has been a mainstay of his festival and club shows over the 2018 European summer. The up and coming producer continues to show a strong focus on sound design and the aesthetic of production, with break-filled patterns and incredible depth once again showing on ‘Haunts’.
Over the past three years, Bearcubs has honed in on a distinctly unique blend of emotive electronic music, future garage and lo-fi house music in his meticulously crafted productions. His Ultraviolet LP and previous singles have seen him heavily championed by the likes of Annie Mac, MistaJam and Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1, and praised for his talent by respected tastemakers such as Mixmag, FADER, Noisey, Majestic Casual and i-D, amongst others. His tracks have reached #1 on Hype Machine's Popular Tracks Chart no less than six times, and his Spotify streaming numbers are in excess of 12 million.
Building upon his impressive live resumé with recent appearances at Pukklepop, Sacred Ground & The Great Escape festivals, plus supporting for artists such as Hayden James, Tom Misch, Shlohmo and Tourist, Bearcubs has been touring the UK & Europe for most of 2018. Bearcubs has also seen DJ support from the likes of Petit Biscuit, Don Diablo, Gorgon City & more.
