Junkyards, fire and an upgrade to 2.0
April 15, 2011 Posted by admin at 10:25 am

What makes a music video amazing? Is it about the scope, depth and darkness of the industrial junkyard the clip is shot in? Does it contain fire or worm-holes? Is there a robotic-babe who needs to be rebuilt and upgraded to a two-point-oh? If all of these things are determinants in a scale of music video amazingness, then the video for Jump Jump Dance Dance’s single 2.0 ticks every box! With L.A. outfit Skinny providing production and direction, the clip provides the perfect visual stimuli to this electronically charged indie-pop weapon.
Enjoy.

With the shoot for Jump Jump Dance Dance’s next single 2.0 finally wrapping up, and the editing process well under way, we thought there no better time to start sharing some of that ‘behind the scenes’ footage we all hear about. Who needs that hipster DSLR and lighting rig when you have a smart phone?
Sometimes a DSLR is needed though, and we’re glad that Yasmin Than was on set to capture these shots.

Strip clubs are amazing little things. Especially those in Hollywood, like Crazy Girls, where bands, like Motley Crue, decide to move in and film a music video. Undoubtedly one of LA’s most regarded gentlemens establsihments, Crazy Girls is a rocking gin joint, pushing new sounds and serving more as a music venue than sweat shop.
Recently, our LA wunderkinds Jump Jump Dance Dance played a show their, a show successful to the point that they we’re brought up in the LA Times.

You know you’ve made it in Hollywood, when you’re written up in a Motley Crue article. Thanks Tommy.
TDCC Fans can Talk
January 13, 2011 Posted by admin at 10:17 am
We, like many fans out there, have a tendancy to film most of the gigs we attend. Although most of us hold onto this footage to love and cherish forever, or gloat to our friends about how close to centre stage we were, a majority of the time this footage ends up on Youtube. Two Door Cinema Club played their biggest Paris show ever back in November 2010 and wanted a timeless video to remember the occasion.
“We’ve always wondered what our gigs looked like from your eyes! The show was so incredible that we asked our fans on facebook to upload any videos they’d taken on their mobile phones. The response was incredible.”
These videos were compiled together to make a super unique live video for ‘I Can Talk‘. Edited by Rod from le-hiboo.com, this video is absolutely amazing.
Enjoy.
