Kitsuné get Tropical
September 22, 2010 Posted by admin at 2:11 pm

French taste makers Kitsuné Maison have recruited some new talent into their artistic flock – London trio IS TROPICAL. The youthful trio signed up a recording deal with Kitsuné / Cooperative Music, allowing their bass heavy, beat driven, pop-influenced lo-fi dance music to infiltrate the hearts and minds of the world. Their debut single ‘South Pacific‘ is scheduled for November 8th 2010.
In a frivolous act of audio-visual-foreplay, the kids prep’d up a little tease of their video clip. Enjoy.
Two Door Cinema Club live from Splendour in the Grass
September 14, 2010 Posted by admin at 3:16 pm

For those unlucky enough to not have made the trip out to Woodford earlier this year and witnessed the spectacular which was Two Door Cinema Club at Splendour in the Grass, we have some good news. Triple J were there, seemingly armed with some microphones and a cassette recorder, and are bringing you Two Door Cinema Club Live at the Wireless.
The boys set from Splendour was broadcast last night at 8pm, and sounded just as (if not more) amazing than being there. For those who missed it, there is a third and final chance to catch the boys set this Sunday, 19th September at 5PM (EST).
Continuing down the TDCC front. In a stroke of digital genius, it seems Triple J were not the only media merchants armed with a recording kit. It seems amongst other things, the lads managed to keep a Handy-cam handy while they’re were out here, capturing an expressive self-shot tour video.
With footage from all around Australia, it’s definitely worth it’s share of bandwidth. Enjoy
Hey Hey Fever Ray
September 2, 2010 Posted by admin at 3:36 pm

Everybody loves a good on-stage get up. None more so than Fever Ray – who have recruited Andreas Nilsson (the director of their spectaculat 2009 live show and the ‘If I Had A Heart‘ and ‘Stranger Than Kindness‘ video clips) in a collaboration to put needle to thread – designing the bands performance costumes for 2010. Leaking the ‘first look’ pics onto the interwebs this week, these things look totally fresh! Kind of wondering what the rest of the collection has instore for eager punters lucky enough to catch on of the shows scheduled throughout the UK in the coming weeks.
Continuing the fever-pitch, the band also launched a pre-order of a ‘Mercy Street‘ 7″ and new tee’s (also designed by Andreas Nilsson). It’s a bundled kit, so if your keen its available from the bands e-store HERE
